Values

Know Jesus

We are not childcare. Every minute is intentionally structured, and we strive for excellence in everything we do. Our purpose is to point kids to Jesus, prayer, Biblical teaching, and compelling worship to help them grow in their relationship with God.

Live for Jesus

We want to model a life that is lived for Jesus through love, service, and discipleship. We encourage and equip kids to live a life for Jesus in their homes, church, school, and community. We challenge kids to "make disciples" by praying for and talking to their friends about Jesus. We recognize that the kids are with their families way more than us, so we walk along side families to help raise kids who know and follow Jesus, providing resources to connect, engage, and equip them to continue learning and growing at home.

Love Jesus

Jesus prayed for all of us to be one and said that the world will know who we are by our love. We want to be intentional in every event and opportunity with our friends and community and learn about Jesus together. As the kids grow in their relationship with Jesus, we pray that they love Him completely, totally, and joyfully, with all that is in them, for their entire lives.

Have Fun!

Fun, excitement, and silliness encourage kids to connect & return. We aren’t afraid of messes if it helps with furthering God’s Kingdom! Creativity, playfulness, & laughter are essential.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I check my child in to The House Kids?

On your first visit, look for The House Kids Connections area (downstairs). If you can't find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you!

At the House Kids Connections, you'll be welcomed by a House Kids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how The House Kids works. To check your child in, we'll need some information at that time, including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

How does The House Kids ensure my kid is safe and secure?

In The House Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show a House Kids team member your matching tag for your child to be released from their room.

Every House Kids volunteer is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

If we need to contact you during service, we can either send you a text message or give your call.

I have a child with special needs. Is there anything I should know before I take my kid to The House Kids?

If you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate in House Kids, we'd love to partner with you to make their experience amazing! Please reach out to the Children's Director in advance to ensure they have the best experience at The House!

How early can I drop my kid off prior to service?

The House Kids’ doors open to greet and check in children 15 minutes before each service. Prior to that, our House Kids teams meet and pray so they can be fully prepared to welcome your kids. There must be at least two team members present to drop your child off in their room.
